SICILY. Segesta. Circa 475/70-455/50 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 8.32 g, 10 h). Hound, the river-god Krimisos, standing to right. Rev. ΣΑΤΕΣΖΑΖΙΒ (sic) Head of the nymph Aigeste to right, her hair bound with a taenia. De Nanteuil 307 (same dies). Hurter 14b (V4/R12; this coin). SNG Leake 1138 (same dies). Old collection toning. Die-break on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
