CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 280-228 BC. Diobol (Silver, 12 mm, 1.07 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested and Attic helmet adorned with olive wreath. Rev. Herakles kneeling to right, holding club in his lowered right hand and wrestling with the Nemean lion. D'Andea et al. The Diobols of Tarentum, Type 105. HN III 911. SNG ANS 1429. Vlasto 1341. Nicely centered and attractively toned. Good very fine.
