ELIS, Olympia. Late 340s BC. Obol (Silver, 11mm, 0.89 g 12). Head of Olympia to right, wearing earring and with her hair bound up, but with some tresses falling down the back of her neck. Rev. FA Eagle standing left with closed wings, head turned back to right. BCD 189/190 var. (same obverse die). BCD 649 (a slightly earlier variety). Seltman -. A very rare variety, perhaps unpublished. Minor flan crack and reverse slightly double struck, otherwise, good extremely fine.
