BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 216-214 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.66 g, 10 h), issued during the Second Punic War. Diademed and draped bust of Nike to right; behind, sphinx seated to right. Rev. BPETTIΩN Dionysos standing facing, crowning himself and holding scepter; to right, shield above monogram. HN III 1964. Scheu II 66. Finely toned. Thin die break on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
