BRUTTIUM. The Brettii. Circa 282-203 BC. Quartuncia (Bronze, 13.5 mm, 1.99 g, 1 h). Head of Amphitrite to left, wearing crab helmet; below, thunderbolt. Rev. BPET-TIΩN Crab; between claws, bunch of grapes. HN III 1990. Scheu 50. SNG ANS 120. With wonderful surfaces and a chocolate brown patina. Reverse struck slightly off-center, otherwise, extremely fine.
