CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 22 mm, 8.56 g, 3 h). Ϙ Pegasos with straight wings flying to left. Rev. Head of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with a neck guard; in the field to right, Phrygian cap with straps to left. BCD Corinth 50. Calciati 120. Ravel 373 (P188/R293, same dies). An extremely rare coin with a head of Athena of fine style and with an unusual symbol. Flatly struck on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
