KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Stater (Gold, 21 mm, 8.46 g, 12 h), struck posthumously, Byzantium, circa 100 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander III to right, wearing horn of Ammon. Cf. Müller 231 (tetradrachm with the same monogram). A. Zograph, The Tooapse Hoard, NC 1925 pp. 29-52 and the illustration on p. 29 (same dies). Well-struck and attractive. Extremely fine.
