LOKRIS. Lokris Opuntii. Circa 382-356 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 11 mm, 2.75 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΛΟΚΡΩΝ Warrior, nude but for a laurel (?) wreath, advancing to right, holding a shield, the interior of which is ornamented with a hippocamp to right, with his left hand and a short sword with his right; in the lower field to right, trident head. BCD 104. SNG Copenhagen 62. Attractive and well-centered. Good very fine.
