CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 276-272 BC. Triobol or quarter stater (Gold, 11.5 mm, 2.13 g, 5 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right; [behind neck, NK]. Rev. TAPANTI-NΩN Eagle with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt; below right wing, monogram of AP over spear head slanting downwards to right; in exergue, Z[=I]Α. Fischer-Bossert G52d (V44/R52 this coin). HN III 986. Vlasto 53 (same obverse die). With a fine head of Apollo struck in high relief. Minor marks and struck slightly off-center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
