SPAIN. Sekaisa. Circa 150-100 BC. Unit (Bronze, 30 mm, 19.75 g, 7 h). se Youthful bare male head to right; to right, dolphin swimming upwards. Rev. sekaisa Horseman galloping to right, holding palm branch over his left shoulder. ACIP 1544; SNG BM Spain 833-40. Clear and attractive with a fine tan-olive patina. Good very fine.

SPAIN. Turiasu. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.56 g, 12 h). ka-tu-ś Bearded male head to right, wearing pearl necklace. Rev. turiasu Horseman with couched lance galloping to right. CNH 34. SNG BM Spain 958-968. Toned, sharply struck and in good silver. Obverse very slightly double-struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

CELTIC, Southern Gaul. Elusates. Circa 100-50 BC. Drachm (Silver, 15 mm, 3.20 g). Devolved and celticized head to right. Rev. Celticized pegasos to left; below, box-like structure. CCCBM II, 111-126. F&P ELU-3587. Nicely struck and attractively toned. Extremely fine.

CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Senones. Circa 100-60 BC. Stater (Gold, 10 mm, 7.07 g), Gallo-Belgic Bullet Type. Cross with trifurcated ends at the center of a plain globule with a prominent rim. Rev. plain convex surface. De la Tour pl. XXXIX, V, 28. SLM 704-709. Ziegaus 158. A very pleasing, sharp and clear coin, attractively toned. Extremely fine.

LUCANIA. Laos. Circa 480-460 BC. Stater (Silver, 17 mm, 8.11 g, 4 h). ϟΑΛ Man-headed bull standing to left, his head turned back to right. Rev. ϟΑΛ Man-headed bull standing to right. HN III 2275. SNG ANS 135 (same dies). Sternberg CIN 8, 5d (this coin. Bold, well-centered and toned: a most attractive coin. Nearly extremely fine.

LUCANIA. Velia. Circa 340-334 BC. Didrachm or nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.56 g, 7 h), from the "Θ" group. Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with griffin; behind, Θ. Rev. YEΛHTΩN Lion walking to right; above, Φ; below, Θ. HN III 1287. Williams 290. Attractive, clear and struck on a broad flan. About extremely fine.

SICILY. Entella. Punic issues, circa 300-289 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 16.73 g, 3 h). Head of Herakles-Melqart to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. 'MHSBM Horse's head to left; behind, date palm; to left, astragalos. Cf. Jenkins, Punic 367 (O114/R-). Beautifully toned and centered. Extremely fine.

SICILY. Gela. Circa 490/85-480/75 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 19.5 mm, 8.62 g). Bearded horseman, nude, riding to right, brandishing spear in his upraised right hand. Rev. CΕ-Λ-Α Forepart of man-headed bull to right. Jenkins 7. SNG ANS 4. SNG Lloyd 956. A superb piece, well-centered, attractively toned and well-struck. Good extremely fine.

SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. Dekadrachm (Gold, 15 mm, 4.32 g, 2 h), c. 317-310. Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. ΣΥΡ - Α - ΚΟ - ΣΙΩΝ Charioteer, holding reins in his left hand and goad in his right, driving biga galloping to right; below, triskeles running to right. SNG ANS 551. Attractive and clear. Extremely fine.

SICILY. Syracuse. Agathokles, 317-289 BC. 25 Litrai (Electrum, 15.5 mm, 3.68 g, 6 h), circa 310-305. Laureate head of Apollo to left; behind head, Corinthian helmet to left. Rev. ΣΥΡAKOΣIΩN Tripod with high ring handles. Jenkins O14. SNG ANS 629. Attractive and of good style. Surfaces slighty buffed, otherwise, about extremely fine.

KINGS OF SKYTHIA. Sariakos, mid 2nd century BC. (Bronze, 24 mm, 9.28 g). Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΣΑΡΙΑΚΟΥ Bow, quiver, and grain ear; between them, possible traces of a monogram. Peykov G0420. Extremely rare, one of a very few known examples. Attractive dark green, glossy patina. Good very fine.

MACEDON. Skione. Circa 480-450 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 12x9 mm, 2.17 g, 6 h). Bare head of Protesilaos to right. Rev. ϟ - ΚΙ Eye (from a galley prow); diagonally placed within an incuse square. Pozzi 74 (same dies). SNG ANS 708. Very attractively toned, well-struck and in remarkably fine condition for this type; very rare, thus. Extremely fine.

AKARNANIA. Argos Amphilochikon. Circa 360-330 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 8.50 g, 12 h). Pegasos flying to left; below, A. Rev. APΓEI Head of Athena left, wearing Corinthian helmet; to right, crested Corinthian helmet to left. BCD Akarnania 132. Pegasi 11. Nicely toned and well centered. Nearly extremely fine.

BOEOTIA. Thebes. Circa 395-338 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 12.21 g), Damo... Boeotian shield. Rev. ΔΑ-ΜΟ Amphora, with ivy spray hanging from left handle; above, club to left. BCD Boiotia 490. BMC 127. SNG Copenhagen 324. An attractive and well-struck example. Some striking flatness on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
