Wheel of four spokes in an 'X' pattern; in upper quarter, five pellets (= denomination mark); in bottom quarter, L; all on a slightly convex, circular, background. Rev. Wheel of four spokes in an 'X' pattern; all on a slightly convex, circular background. HN III 677a. ICC 345. SNG France 1345. Thurlow & Vecchi 281. Earthen patina. Very fine.
