EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Drachm (Bronze, 32.9 mm, 16.06 g, 12 h), year 16 = 131-132. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙA CEΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. L Iς Nilus reclining left on pile of rocks, holding reed in right hand and cornucopia in left; at his side, crocodile. Dattari (Savio) 1795. Geissen 1056 var. (Nilus seated more upright). K&G 32.519. RPC III 5791. Dark green patina. Somewhat rough surfaces. Very fine.
