EGYPT. Alexandria. Hadrian, 117-138. Drachm (Bronze, 35.0 mm, 23.57 g, 12 h), year 16 = 131-132. ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ ΤΡΑΙ ΑΔΡΙA CEΒ Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right. Rev. L Iς Nilus seated left on pile of rocks, holding reed in right hand and cornucopia in left; at his side, hippopotamus. Dattari (Savio) 1758. Geissen 1055. K&G 32.516. RPC III 5792. Brown patina. Light rubbing on obverse leaving hairline scratches and a lighter tone on the high points, otherwise, very fine.
