CAMPANIA. Hyria. Circa 400-395 BC. Nomos or Didrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 7.27 g, 7 h). Head of Athena to left, wearing crested Attic helmet adorned with a laurel branch and an owl. Rev. YDINAI Man-headed bull walking to left. HN III 539. Rutter 92 (HO37/HR83). Sambon 780b. SNG ANS 264 (same dies). SNG BN 614-8. Toned, well-centered and with a splendid reverse. Very fine.

From the Trausnitz Collection, ex Monnaies et Medailles 75, 4 December 1989, 12 (unsold but was then estimated at CHF 1800!).
