KINGS of MACEDON. Philip III Arrhidaios. 323-317 BC. Drachm (Silver, 16mm, 4.15 g 3), Side. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Zeus seated to left on throne, holding eagle in his right hand and long scepter in his left; to left, torch; below throne, Α. Price P123 (for a coin of Alexander probably struck using the same obverse die, see Price 2968). Lightly toned, well struck and perfectly centered. Extremely fine.
