THESSALY, Pagasai. Mid 4th century BC. Obol (Silver, 0.94 g 6). Laureate head of Apollo to left, but with his face turned partially forward. Rev. Π - Α - Γ - Α Lyre with six strings; all within a slight incuse circle. Unpublished save for its appearance as Triton XV (BCD), 502. Of great rarity, the second known example. A coin of great historical interest. Slightly crystalized surfaces, otherwise, about very fine.
