THESSALY, Herakleia Trachinia. Circa 360s-350s BC. Dichalkon (Bronze, 16mm, 3.75 g 6). Head of lion to left, with closed mouth; below jaws, retrograde Σ. Rev. ΗΡΑ - Σ Club upright in wreath with ties at the bottom. Rogers 256 var. (no letter on the obverse). SNG Copenhagen 68 var. Rare. Dark green patina. Good very fine.


Said to have been found in southern Bulgaria.
