FL IVL CONS-TANS P F AVG Rose-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constans to right. Rev. TRIVMFATOR GENT IVM BARBARARVM / ·SIS· Emperor, laureate and in military dress, standing facing, head turned to left, holding a labarum with a Christogram with his right hand and an inverted spear with his left. Bastien, Donativa, p. 85, note 5. Cohen 112. Gnecchi I, p. 63, 18. RIC 148. Very rare. Sharply struck and attractively toned. Minor striking crack, small areas of corrosion and minor marks, otherwise, extremely fine.
