The 5 Drachmai coin of 1845 is acknowledged as one of the rarest circulation coins of King Otho. Instances of these coins, when encountered, have typically exhibited suboptimal conditions (i.e., kind of lousy). The present coin, distinguished by its exceptional quality, represents a noteworthy rarity as it is the first instance of such a well-preserved coin we have ever seen.
