From the El-Greco Collection of Modern Greek Rarities.

This 1845 1/4 Drachmi is one of the rarest dates of this denomination. In addition, when found, examples of this coin tend to be in rather poor condition; not only that, they tend either to be holed or plugged. As such, the present coin's splendid condition makes it a real rarity.
