Attractive Piakos tetras
SICILY. Piakos. Circa 425-420 BC. Tetras (Bronze, 13 mm, 1.91 g, 10 h). P-I-A Horned and wreathed head of river-god to left. Rev. Hound attacking stag to right; to left and right, barley corns. Campana 2. CNS 2. HGC 2, 1101. SNG ANS -. Attractive reddish-brown patina with a light sandy wash around the devices. Good very fine.
