PTOLEMAIC KINGS OF EGYPT. Ptolemy V Epiphanes, 205-180 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 13.90 g, 11 h), Soloi in Cilicia, circa 200 BC. Jugate busts to right of Serapis, laureate, bearded and draped, and Isis, crowned, diademed and draped. Rev. ΠTOΛEMAIOY BAΣIΛEΩΣ Eagle with closed wings standing on thunderbolt to left, his head turned back to right, with double cornucopiae at his shoulder; in the lower left field, TI; in right field, monogram of ΠA. Landvatter -. Svoronos -. Unique and unpublished. Light die rust on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.

While the obverse die of this coin apparently does not link with that used for the previous two lots, it is so close that it seems likely that it is actually the same die, but recut! Thus it can be reasonably confidently attributed to the same mint (or, perhaps a different workshop in the same mint?) .
