CORINTHIA. Corinth. Circa 400-375 BC. Stater (Silver, 21 mm, 8.68 g, 6 h). Ϙ Pegasus, with curved wing, walking to left. Rev. Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard; behind neck, chicken pecking to right. BCD Corinth -. Calciati 294. A bold and attractive piece; nicely toned. Minor die rust on the obverse, otherwise. Nearly extremely fine.
