LESBOS. Methymna. Circa 500/480-460 BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14 mm, 2.40 g, 10 h). Hoplite running left, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet, holding a round shield on left arm and a spear spear in right hand. Rev. Rider on forepart of horse galloping right; all in dotted square within incuse square. Franke, Münzprägung 4. HGC 6, 887. SNG von Aulock 1738. Nicely centered and toned. Very rare type with clear designs on both sides. Good very fine.
