KINGS OF PAEONIA. Audoleon, circa 315-286 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 12.59 g, 12 h). Head of Athena facing, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet, head turned slightly to right. Rev. ΑΥΔΟΛΕΟΝ-ΤΟ-Σ Horse trotting to right; below, monogram of AY. BMC 4. Pavlovska 81-3. Cf. SNG ANS 1056 (different control). SNG Ashmolean 3369-70. Winterthur 1674. Excellent centering and dark toning, and with a wonderful pedigree. Good very fine.
