ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΠΕΡ-ΣΕΩΣ Eagle with spread wings standing right on thunderbolt; above, monogram of ΜΑΡ; to right, monogram of ΑΥ; between legs, monogram of ΑΝ; all within an oak wreath with a plow below. Mamroth 25. SNG Munich 1199. De Luca 250a (O51/R223, this coin not recorded). A wonderful, sharp portrait of Perseus, with light reddish tones highlighting the devices. Minor marks in the fields, otherwise, good extremely fine.
