THRACE. Maroneia. Circa 386/5-348/7 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 11.13 g, 11 h), struck under the magistrate Hikesios. ΜΑΡΩ Horse with trailing rein rearing to left. Rev. ΕΠΙ ΙΚΕ-ΣΙΟ Grape arbor in linear square; to left, caduceus; all within shallow incuse square. BMC 25 (same dies). Schönert-Geiss 425 (V9/R14) = West 92a (this coin). SNG Lockett 1200 (same dies). Deeply toned and attractive. Nearly extremely fine.
