CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 9.29 g, 9 h). Head of Tanit to left, wreathed with grain ears, wearing triple pendant earring and necklace with ten pendants. Rev. Horse standing to right; on groundline, before hindlegs, trefoil of pellets with point upwards. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIi, 106 (same dies). MAA 4. Shaply struck and quite lustrous, a lovely example. Good extremely fine.
