THESSALY, Larissa. Mid to late 4th century BC. Tetrachalkon (Bronze, 8.96 g 9). Head of the nymph Larissa, three-quarter facing to left, wearing ampyx and pearl-drop earring. Rev. ΛΑΡΙ Σ - ΑΙΩΝ Bridled horse trotting to right; below, trident head to left. Triton XV (BCD), 329. An attractive piece with a golden-brown patina. Nearly extremely fine.
