CILICIA, Rhosus. Time of Trajan, 98-117. Hemiassarion (?) (Bronze, 14mm, 2.68 g 11), Year 148 = 106/7. ET HMP Bust of Athena to left, wearing Corinthian helmet. Rev. PΩCEΩN Pomegranate attached to aphlaston. RPC 3406. Very rare. A lovely coin with a beautiful green patina. Good very fine.

CILICIA, Tarsus. Hadrian, 117-138. Tetradrachm (Billon, 26mm, 13.55 g 11). [AYT KAI TPA ΠAP Y ΘE NEP Y TPAIA AΔPIANOC / Π - Π Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. AΔPIANOC TAPCEΩN / [MH]TPOΠ-[OΛEΩC] Decastyle temple on podium with steps; eagle in pediment; KOINOC (sic!) KIΛIKIAC. RPC -, cf. 3274 (laureate head left and wreath in pediment). Highly interesting. An apparently unpublished variety of an extremely rare type. Very fine.
