CILICIA, Hierapolis-Castabala. Diadumenian, as Caesar, 217-218. Triassarion (Bronze, 23mm, 9.02 g 12). M OΠEΛ ΔI ANTONINOC (sic!) Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian to right, seen from behind. Rev. IEPOΠO KACTABA - IEPOC Agonistic urn between two torches. SNG Paris 2242. Earthern highlights. Very fine.

Curiously enough, the die cutter mixed up Diadumenian’s name to M.A. Diadumenianus Antoninus rather than M.A. Antoninus Diadumenianus.
