EASTERN CELTS. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 12.59 g, 11 h), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horse to left, rider holding branch in his left hand. CCCBM I 28. DT 9870. A magnificent, unusually well-struck example with excellent surfaces. Very minor flatness, otherwise. Extremely fine.
