Tiberius, 14-37. Semis (Orichalcum, 19mm, 3.47 g 9), Lugdunum, 8-10. TI CAESAR AVGVSTI F IMPERAT V Bare head of Tiberius to left. Rev. ROM ET AVG Front elevation of the Altar of Lugdunum, decorated with the corona civica between laurels and stylized figures; altar flanked by columns surmounted by statues of Victory standing vis-à-vis, each holding a palm frond over left shoulder and wreath in right hand. AMC 388. RIC 239. A lovely example with natural surfaces and a nice olive green patina. Minor green deposits on obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
