THESSALY. Pharsalos. Early to mid 4th Century BC. Hemidrachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.94 g, 8 h), Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with raised cheek flaps and adorned with scrolls and olive twigs. Rev. Φ-A-P-Σ (the last two letters retrograde) horse’s head and neck right in concave field. BCD II 668.3. Lavva 121. Slightly porous and minor flan on reverse, otherwise. About extremely fine.
