Gallienus, 253-268. Antoninianus (Billon, 20mm, 3.47 g 11), Siscia, c. 263. GALLIENVS AVG Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus to right. Rev. VIRTVS AVG Gallienus, in military dress, standing facing, his head turned to left, holding globe in his right hand and long scepter with his left; to his left, kneeling and suppliant figure wearing chlamys and raising both hands towards the emperor; to his right, another captive seated right on the ground. Cohen 1265 var. (differing bust type). MIR 1405u. RIC 323 var. (differing bust type). Extremely rare. A lovely example of only very few known specimens. Nicely silvered. Reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, extremely fine.
