Caracalla, 198-217. Denarius (Silver, 20mm, 3.95 g 12), Rome, c. 201-206. ANTONINVS PIVS AVG Laureate and draped bust of Caracalla to right. Rev. ADVENTVS / AVGVSTOR Galley left with five rowers; at stern, hortator before the Augusti and Geta seated left between signum and aquila. BMC 268. Cohen 8. RIC 121. A remakable example with both sides sharply struck and clear. Good very fine.
