Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; behind, Hermes standing right, tying sandal and holding kerykeion. BCD Akarnania 262.2. Calciati 99. An attractive issue with pleasing toning and an interesting symbol. Light porosity, otherwise, good very fine.

From the collection of a Nobleman who died in 1940, ex Ars Classica XVII, 3 October 1934, 493 and from the stock of Jacob Hirsch (with the original coin ticket included).
