ΣΥPAKOΣIΩN Head of Kore to left, wearing wreath of grain, single-pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, poppy. Rev. Bull butting to left; above club and monogram of AΓ; in exergue, IE. BAR issue 53. CNS 191 Ds89 R1 25. HGC 2, 1469. Dark green patina. Minor deposits, otherwise, very fine.

SICILY. Unlocated Punic mint. Circa 350-300 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 6.91 g, 1 h), half of a tetradrachm, cut and countermarked. Head of Tanit-Persephone to left, wearing grain wreath and triple pendant earring; around, four dolphins; c/m: wheel with four spokes within circular incuse. Rev. M (in Punic) Horse's head to left; behind, date palm. Cf. Jenkins, Punic 230-248 (uncertain dies). Toned. Uncleaned as found. Very fine.
