Unpublished, but see Leu (Winterthur) 15, 27 February 2021, 1059 (same die) and Roma E89, 28 October 2021, 765 (different die). With four holes equidistant along the edges for suspension as an appliqué, otherwise, virtually as struck.

Helmeted and cuirassed Roman-style bust facing, head turned slightly to right, holding spear in right hand over right shoulder and shield with horseman motif on left arm; Pseudo-legend around. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Cf. Göbl, Dokumente pl. 87, B1. An interesting piece showing cross-cultural exchange through Central Asia. Flan slightly crinkled, otherwise, extremely fine.

INDIA, Kushan Empire. Vima Kadphises, c. 100-127/8. Tetradrachm (Copper, 27 mm, 16.81 g, 12 h), main mint in Begram. Vima Kadphises standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar to left; trident to left, tamgha and club to right. Rev. Siva standing facing, holding trident in right hand; behind, the bull Nandi standing right; Buddhist triratana (Three Jewels) to left. Donum Burns 98. MK 762. Well struck, and with a dark brown patina. Scratches, otherwise, good very fine.
