Rev. ΠAIS Cornucopia to left, with mark of value (••••) and small branch to left. Crawford, Paestum 6/1. HN Italy 1196. Green patina. Rough area on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.

LUCANIA. Thourioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Stater (Silver, 23 mm, 7.58 g, 10 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing helmet adorned with Skylla holding oar(?) and pointing to right. Rev. ΘΟΥΡΙΩΝ Bull butting to right; in the exergue, fish swimming to right. HN III 1800. SNG ANS 1014 (same obverse die). Nicely toned and well-centered. Some tiny scratches and marks, otherwise, very fine.
