ΜΕΤΑ Ear of barley with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin charging to right; below leaf, ΛY. HN III 1589. Johnston Class C, 6.15 (same dies). SNG ANS 491 (same obverse die). A clear, bright and nicely struck example, of fine style. Struck on a tight flan with some flatness, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

META Ear of barley with leaf to right; below left, ΛΥ ; above leaf, star of sixteen rays. HN III 1592. Johnston Class C, 8.4 (this obverse die). Attractively toned; a beautiful coin. Striking flatness on both sides, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
