SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Seleukos II Kallinikos, 246-226 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.32 g, 1 h), Uncertain mint in Asia Minor. Diademed head of Seleukos II to right, with long sideburns. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΕΛΕΥΚΟΥ Apollo Delphios standing to left, holding arrow in his right hand and leaning on tripod with his left arm; in field to left, monogram of ΜΕ. SC -, apparently unpublished. Extremely rare. An elegant coin, very well-struck and with a fine, relatively small-sized portrait of Seleukos II. Extremely fine.
