Head of Parthenope to right; around, four dolphins, with the two lower ones emerging behind Parthenope's neck. Rev. ΝΕΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ Man-headed bull to right; above, Nike flying to right to crown him; below, OYIΛ. HN III 576. Sambon 458. SNG ANS 338-9 (same obverse die). SNG BN 719-727 (same obverse die). SNG Copenhagen 413-414. Struck from well engraved dies, with a portrait of excellent style. Very fine.

Wheel of four spokes in an 'X' pattern; in upper quarter, five pellets (= denomination mark); in bottom quarter, L; all on a slightly convex, circular, background. Rev.
