CILICIA. Soloi. Circa 100-30 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 5.81 g, 12 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΣOΛEΩN Bearded Dionysos standing facing, with bull's horns, holding kantharos with his right hand and thyrsos with his left; to left, two monograms in field. SNG Levante 862 var. SNG Paris 1200-2 var. Ziegler 581 var. (all with different monograms). Nicely centered and with dark green patina. The details of Dionysus' horns and beard are unusually clear and distinct. Good very fine.
