SICILY. Syracuse. Hieron II, 275-215 BC. (Bronze, 21 mm, 8.64 g, 10 h). Head of Poseidon to left, wearing tainia. Rev. ΙΕΡΩΝΟΣ Trident flanked by two dolphins swimming downwards. BAR Issue 60. CNS 197. HGC 2, 1550. Brown patina. Deposits and striking weakness, otherwise, nearly very fine.
