CELTIC, Northeast Gaul. Nervii. Circa 100-50 BC. Unit (Potin, 21 mm, 4.28 g, 3 h). Abstract laurel wreath. Rev. Horse standing to right; crescent above, pellets around. Depeyrot, NC VII, 8. DT 629. LT 8620. Unusually fine for these, and with a dark green patina. Good very fine.

CELTIC, Balkan Region. Uncertain mint, copying Histiaia. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetrobol (Silver, 14.5 mm, 2.02 g, 1 h), a contemporary Celtic imitation. Slightly barbarized vine-wreathed head of nymph Histiaia to right. Rev. Celtisized Nymph seated right on stern of galley decorated with a star. Cf. BCD Euboia 425-32. Toned. Good very fine.
