BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 425-395 BC. Stater (Silver, 24mm, 12.22 g). Boeotian shield. Rev. Θ Ε Bearded head of Dionysos to right, wearing an ivy wreath. BCD Boiotia 438/9 var. A bright and attractively toned example with a nice head of Dionysos. Obverse struck off center and with a minor metal flaw, otherwise, good very fine.
