Athena Nikephoros seated left, her left arm resting on shield, spear behind; monograms to outer left and in exergue. Müller 406. Thompson 86. A lovely, toned example. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.

BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY Athena seated left, holding Nike in her right hand and resting her left arm on a shield; behind her, transverse spear; to left, monogram of AP. Meydancikkale 2697. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.

THESSALY, Thessalian League. Circa 48/7-45/4 BC. Stater (Silver, 23mm, 4.43 g 12), Petraios and Ptolemaios. Head of Zeus to right, wearing oak wreath. Rev. ΘΕΣΣΑ / ΛΩΝ Athena Itonia striding right, hurling spear with her right hand and extending shield in her left; above spear, ΠΕΤΡΑΙΟΥ; in exergue, ΠΤΟΛΕΜΑΙΟΥ. SNG Copenhagen 290. Toned and struck on a broad flan, a most unusual coin with a very low weight; as such, very rare. About extremely fine.
