GEPIDS. In the name of Anastasius I, c. 491-504. Quarter Siliqua (Silver, 14mm, 0.96 g 7), Sirmium. C N ΛNΛSTΛISVS ИAC Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Anastasius to right. Rev. VICΓAI + RIΛΛV Monogram of Theoderic; above, cross and beneath, star. Cf. MIB I, 46. A very clear and particularly sharp example struck in extraordinarily good metal. Minor striking flatness on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
