SICILY. Uncertain Roman mint. Circa 200-190 BC. As (Bronze, 23 mm, 4.84 g, 12 h), Lilybaion (?). Laureate head of Janus with denomination mark I above. Rev. NA/SO in two lines within wreath. BAR Issue 37. CNS 78 (Panormos). HGC 2, 1690. Quite nice for the issue. Well-centered with green patina and an attractive portrait of Janus. Minor roughness and a scratch on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
